Tracy Whittaker-Smith MBE joins jumpthink as Head of Performance
We’re delighted to welcome Tracy Whittaker-Smith MBE to jumpthink as our new Head of Performance.
Having spent the majority of her career to date in high performance sport, Tracy brings unrivalled knowledge and experience of creating high performance cultures and leading winning teams.
During her time with British Gymnastics – where she will continue in her role as Performance Director – Tracy has led the creation of performance pathways and systems that have produced World and Olympic medallists.
As Head Coach of the Trampoline World Class Programme, she led Great Britain to its first ever medals in the sport, capturing Olympic Silver and Bronze in 2016 and 2021 respectively.
As a UK Sport Coach Mentor, Tracy has worked with some of the finest performance minds in the Great Britain sporting system and has supported a multitude of people and organisations to deliver against their performance, strategy, and culture-based goals.
Tracy will lead our work with organisations around creating high performance cultures and environments, and developing leaders to implement high performance strategies.
Tracy said:
“I’m really excited to be joining jumpthink at such an interesting time in the company’s growth.
“Helping to develop people has been a passion of mine that has continuously driven my work in sport, and I can’t wait to bring that same drive to supporting different organisations and industries in helping them to be the best they can be.
“I’m looking forward to helping people understand high performance strategies, mindsets and behaviours to deliver true, tangible impact.”
Head of Thinking at jumpthink, Dave Hill, added:
“Bringing Tracy into jumpthink is a significant coup for the organisation and the skills and experiences we can bring to everyone we work with.
“Tracy’s work in gymnastics is highly respected across the entire sporting landscape in the UK. On top of this, she has a sharp business mind and an incredible way of developing trust and buy in with people which enables her to support and develop people in a way that few others can.
“I’m incredibly excited to be working with Tracy and I know that everyone we work with will be equally intrigued and engaged by the lessons, experiences and skills she has in developing high performance people and teams.”
